Introducing My Droplette

The first-of-its-kind small quantity milk collector.

Never lose another drop.

What is My Droplette?

My Droplette is a soft, form-fitting device placed between the nipple and the breast pump that captures 100% of your milk. With My Droplette, there’s absolutely no milk lost in hoses, fittings or other pump parts.

My Droplette collects up to 8 ml of milk at a time, making it ideal for new moms, antenatal pumping and women experiencing low milk supply.

Save every last drop for your baby’s best nourishment with My Droplette from Bond & Love.

Who’s it for?

My Droplette is designed specifically for women expressing small quantities of milk or colostrum. Most breast pumps lose around 5 ml per session inside hoses, fittings and other hard to reach places. This is especially frustrating when you’re dealing with small quantities. My Droplette creates a closed system that captures 100% of the milk you express. With My Droplette, new moms, women pumping before giving birth, and women with low milk supply can rest assured that they’re collecting every precious drop.

New moms

New moms express small quantities of colostrum for the first few days after birth. These quantities are so small that they’re measured in milliliters rather than ounces. Using a breast pump can be especially frustrating during this time because so much of this precious colostrum is lost to hoses, fittings and other pump parts. My Droplette creates a completely closed system that captures 100% of the milk you express. With My Droplette, new moms take comfort in knowing they’ve collected every last drop.

Antenatal pumping

Many mothers choose to begin expressing milk before they give birth. Some do this simply to prepare for breastfeeding and ensure a ready supply. Others have specific reasons such as a planned cesarean or induced birth, type 1 or gestational diabetes, or a baby diagnosed with a cleft lip or palate. Expressing and collecting colostrum before birth ensures that your baby will have a ready source of the rich, concentrated nutrients and antibodies only colostrum can offer. My Droplette’s closed system ensures that you collect every precious drop.

Low milk supply

Low milk supply can be caused by numerous factors. Pumping often helps stimulate milk production, but milk lost to pump parts can compound the frustration that comes with low milk supply. My Droplette creates a closed system that captures 100% of your milk with absolutely no milk lost to hoses, fittings or other pump parts.

Planned cesarean or induced birth

If your health care professional recommends a planned cesarean or induced birth, they may also recommend that you pump and collect colostrum beforehand. This ensures a ready supply of colostrum for feeding even if you should be temporarily separated following the procedure.

Gestational Diabetes
Babies born to diabetic mothers risk developing hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), especially in their first 24 hours. Having a ready supply of colostrum at birth can eliminate the need for formula supplements. This is important because even a single formula supplementation in the first few days can negatively impact the development of your baby’s GI tract and gut flora, and reduce your chance of successfully establishing breastfeeding.
Cleft lip or palate

A cleft lip or palate, sometimes diagnosed during pregnancy, can make it difficult for your baby to form a proper latch with enough suction to stimulate milk production. Antenatal expression may help ready your milk supply, and collecting colostrum before birth means you can still provide your child with its unique concentration of nutrients and immune factors even if they are unable to breastfeed.

Inverted nipples

Inverted nipples can make it difficult for your baby to form a proper latch. This can make it harder to stimulate milk production and to establish breastfeeding. Your health care professional may recommend antenatal pumping to correct the inverted nipple and stimulate milk production.
